Oeiras, 28 August 2012 (LB). JFC Lisbon received a visit of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. The Global Master of Arts Program (GMAP) students lead by Mrs. Deborah Winslow Nutter, Senior Associate Dean and Director of GMAP were welcomed by Rear Admiral Fernando Pires da Cunha.
Rear Admiral Michael Gilday and Commodore David Wolfe joined the official party for a lecture entitled “Delivering Security in the 21st Century”. Several themes were covered including Partnership, Comprehensive Approach, EU-NATO Cooperation, Smart Defense, NATO support to African Union.
The Fletcher School is a leading professional school of international affairs. The Global Master of Arts Program was specifically designed to provide busy professionals the opportunity to master the disciplines necessary to have a 360-degree perspective of global affairs.
